Vikings a series based on the life of a Nordic peasant (Ragnar Lothbrok) and inspired by the tales of the Nordics of the High Middle Ages, written and created by Michael Hirts for the History Channel, a series that throughout its history tells us shows how ragnar after pursuing his dreams of conquering england and france in his revolutionary ships accompanied by his great love lagertha and his whole family faces other kings who not only have a different perception of life and its customs, but also in their spiritual beliefs. It is on one of those invasion trips where he meets Athlestan, a monk who is taken as a slave by Ragnar. The two begin to doubt their spiritual beliefs and conflict on several occasions.
